Events are an important part of Wan Ling Tea House. They provide a superb opportunity to meet our customers, educate people about the world of tea, enjoy the English summer and visit some beautiful locations.
Why not come and visit one of the great events or contact us about organising your own? Have two to three people interested in tea? Perfect, lets have a tea ceremony workshop.

Wan Ling Tea House @ Kingston Lacy (near Wimborne)
Wan Ling Tea House is back at the wonderful National Trust property Kingston Lacy House. Located in the Tea Garden. You will gain exclusive access to the beautifully cared for Japanese inspired gardens. The oriental garden is an ideal location for our Wan Ling Tea House Tea Garden as it captures the essence of Cha Dao; peace, tranquillity and beauty.
Wan Ling, Zi Ling and James will be creating a tea experience for you. Building on our event in 2013, this year guests will be taken on a tea journey. We will look at the different styles of tea culture and enjoy some exquisite teas that have been hand picked by Wan Ling.
Sessions will be by ticket only and run for around 40-45 minutes. Tickets will be on sale at the entrance of Kingston Lacy as well as online. You can find out more on our Facebook Events Page.

Wan Ling Tea House @ Kingston Lacy (near Wimborne)
Wan Ling Tea House has been invited by the National Trust team at the wonderful Kingston Lacy House to take over their Tea Garden. Actually inspired by Japanese gardens, this oriental garden is an ideal location for our Wan Ling Tea House Tea Garden.
Wan Ling and Zi Ling will be on hand to offer Chinese tea ceremony demonstrations giving guests the chance to experience this classic expression of tea art as well as trying some superb Chinese teas.

Milton Abbas Street Fayre
World famous, Milton Abbas Street Fayre. If you have never visited, this is an excellent opportunity to explore this delightful Dorset village. The high street will be closed for the day and give over to stalls and performances. What a great way to enjoy a summers day, pick up some great local produce and may be a few drinks on the way (tea of course).
Wan Ling Tea House will be located behind the church in our own secluded tea garden. Plenty of seating to relax and take the weight off your feet. We will be serving our superb loose leaf teas by the cup and pot, plus some home made cake as well as our travelling tea shop. Please stop by and say hello.

Due to our smallest addition to the Wan Ling Tea House team, our 2012 event calender is postponed. We look forward to being back in 2013 with lots more opportunities to experience the world of tea in some wonderful surroundings.

Anonymous Travelling Market - Shaftesbury, Dorset
On the road again. Out and about with the ladies and the merry band which are the Anonymous Travelling Market (ATM). In the Blackmore Vale town of Shaftesbury for a summer event of great local gifts, produce and merriment. Wan Ling Tea House will be onsite with our travelling tea shop. Come and visit us for some exotic Chinese and Indian speciality teas. Have a question about loose leaf tea? Come along and ask it. We will be on hand to answer questions and help with picking a tea for you or to make a great gift.

Dawn to Dusk helicopter challenge
The Challenge
Take one helicopter and two pilots, add 25 or so 3-star gold winners from the 2011 Great Taste Awards, whisk in the fact that these foods need to be collected from across the UK in one day – from dawn to dusk – and you have the recipe for an incredible feat of aeronautical dexterity, concentration and commitment.
The Great Taste Awards has teamed up with pilots Tim Virdee and Peter Waldron to crack the Dawn to Dusk Challenge. (please seewww.automatic-button.com/d2d/) In one day they will collect the ingredients to put together an award-winning menu for 30 lucky diners, in a dinner assembled after the challenge celebrating all these products.

Feast of Dorset - Deans Court, Wimborne, Dorset.
After an award winning 2009, the team behind Feast of Dorset are back. Feast of Dorset is celebration of seasonal West Country food and drink in an enchanted secret garden. Chefs, producers and entertainers blend their skills to benefit the environment and rural life.
Wan Ling Tea House has been fortunate enough to be invited back to the beautiful hidden rose garden. We will be offering a place to relax, surrounded by beautiful pieces of art, cups of fine tea, an opportunity to take part in a tea ceremony workshop and the chance to buy from our range of speciality teas and tea wares. Wan Ling Tea House @ Larmer Tree Gardens
August sees Wan Ling Tea House heading to the delightful gardens to offer a traditional Chinese tea ceremony demonstration and a chance to sample speciality Chinese tea.
The stunning and unforgettable Larmer Tree Gardens at the heart of the Cranborne Chase, an ancient royal hunting ground on the border between Dorset and Wiltshire. The 11 acre gardens have a fascinating history and were originally designed as a Victorian Pleasure Garden by General Augustus Pitt Rivers in around 1880.

Anonymous Travelling Market (ATM) - Serenata Classical Music Festival
World Class artists and musicians perform live in the beautiful setting of the Jurassic coast.
Confirmed artists include: Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Blake, Faryl Smith, Geoff Sewell, Benjamin Grosvenor, Ruth Palmer and Emma Johnson; Timothy Redmond conducts a 48 piece orchestra including some of the world's greatest musicians.
Britain's first classical music festival features boutique camping, stunning scenery, gourmet food , full children's programme, up and coming classical talent competition and much more over 3 days of life aspiring and accessible classical music.
The ATM including Wan Ling Tea House have their own market place, under cover. Bringing together a collection of Dorset's most passionate stall-holders and an eclectic arts, crafts and local produce. Come and join us for fun and games under canvas.

Travelling Market - Deans Court, Wimborne, Dorset.
The Anonymous Travelling Market travel to Wimborne Minster and the wonderful grounds of Dean Court. Delightful old building looks over the carefully maintained grounds and boating lake. Deans Court houses a great little tea room where you buy light lunches and enjoy locally made cakes. Wan Ling Tea House is on hand with our stall of great teas and tea wares. Zi Ling will join us to offer Chinese tea tastings and Cha Yi demonstrations.
