Tea Tasting Notes

Tea Appearance: Dark, long leaf with hints of green and red. Medium-Heavy oxidiation >60%.

Tea Liquor: Bright, clear, golden liquor.

Tea Aroma: Particularly when preparing in a GaiWan the aroma is distinct from other rock teas, whilst still maintaining that satisfying comforting essence which characterises great WuYi Shan teas.

Tea Taste: Soft and smooth. Flavours emerge, from initial sweetness on the tip of the tongue, through a well balanced astringency as the liquor runs over your palate to a long silky finish.
