Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea is from AnXi county in the Min Nan (Southern Min) region of China's Fujian province are a speciality of Wan Ling Tea House. Especially selected by Wan Ling and her family, these teas aim to relax and whisk you away from the pace of modern life.
Tie Guan Yin, sometimes written as Ti Kuan Yin, is one of the most famous Chinese Oolong teas and is renowned for its complex flavours, beautiful liquor and wonderful aroma. Tie Guan Yin is excellent all-round tea with a green dry leaf colour that produces a golden to almost clear and iridescent liquor.
Wan Ling Tea House signature collections include the modern styled lightly oxidised (20-30%), Qing Xiang (green, highly aromatic) Tie Guan Yin and the traditional style of more fully oxidised Tie Guan Yin (40-80%) from the highest peaks of inner (nei) AnXi County.
