Sourenee or Soureni Tea Estate is situated in the picturesque Mirik Valley region of Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. The name Sourenee is a combination of two words. "SOUR" – kind of tree grows in this region, with some medicinal value and “Rani” – the queen of valley. The garden covers an area of almost 137 hectares which stretches in an altitude of between 700m to 1300m. The Soureni Tea Estate has a history stretching back over 100 years.
