Tie Guan Yin, '999' Guan Yin is a play on the Chinese for nine and also long (period of time). This high grade AnXi Tie Guan Yin tea is specially selected for its wonderfully long lasting aroma. Flavours linger in your mouth and fill your senses with well being and an invigorating lift. Our 999 Guan Yin tea produces a pale liquor and the leaves can be infused up to 8-10 times using gong fu style preparation.

Ideal for those who like green teas but also those who prefer a fuller bodied tea, whilst still being refreshing. A superb, high grade all-round tea. Ideal at any time of the day.

Tea appearance: Tight pellets, which open to an evenly oxidised pale green, mid-size leaf.
Tea liquor: Pale, bright, translucent, green / golden liquor.
Tea aroma: Complex and multi-layered. Hints of flowers especially orchid, undertones of crème with a cleansing freshness.
Tea taste: Extremely smooth, with perfectly balanced astringency and sweetness. Distinct and complex layers of flavour with a long, clean finish.

Good fellow after a busy day...

Eagerly waiting the new 2011 harvest release of this sensational Tie Guan Yin.

It has a great aroma and a long lasting aftertaste. Excellent choice for gongfu tea even multiple infusions. It is a relaxing companion after a busy day. Enjoy every drop of it, and forget a daily rush for a moment!
