Whats new at Wan Ling Tea House and our plans for the future.
New Year 2010
Happy New Year. Looking forward to an exciting year of the Tiger. 2010 is a big year for Wan Ling Tea House and Shanghai. Shanghai will be hosting the world EXPO and it is set to be a huge event. Located on the former docks, the site is incredible. If you have a chance do try and make it to Shanghai for EXPO and if you do please come and visit us.
Look out for more Shanghai events, we are kicking off the new year with a free tea tasting at Dragonfly @ SCRA. Why not come along.
Personally the biggest news is that James finally proposed to Wan Ling on New Years day which co-insided with Valentines day. No date is set but we look forward to the first Wan Ling Tea House wedding.
Looking back to 2009, there was no major changes to www.wanlingteahouse.com though the European online tea shop grew tremendously thanks to the hard work of the team there and the wonderful support of our customers. We look forward to busy and successful 2010 bringing you even more.
Be happy, keep smiling and put the kettle.
All the best from Shanghai and Dorset, England.
New Year 2009
2008 has flown by. Welcome to 2009 and best wishes for the year of the Ox.
With all the work on the Wan Ling Tea House Europe site there has just been time for a few tweaks and updates here online (Fujian and Accessories pages), though I hope they make our readers lifes more convenient. We would like to thank those that have taken the time to send us feedback and suggestions - we encourage everyone to let us know what they'd like to see here.
Wan Ling has been busy in the real world with the move to the new shop in Jing An district. Still conveniently located, the shop is much larger but still offers a relaxing place to escape the rush of Shanghai.
